Stylish New Year Celebration

This New Year eve, among all the sparkling dresses, high hills and glittery eye shadow, the best accessory to all that glam is your confidence and a smile! No jewelry or hand bags could replace a brilliant smile and your head held high. When a woman walks in any room feeling amazing, she glows from within, and then jewelry is an enhancer and addition to already confident attitude.

When I talk about confident attitude we are not talking bitchy or snobby here, but a healthy feeling of looking great along with most important feeling good inside. The new resolution of all should be to carry this feeling durring the New Years Celebration into the 2012 and all the way through life!

So spend the last few days letting go of everything you want to leave in 2011 and walk into the New Year with overwhelming confidence! It is attractive, sexy and always in Style!

Happy New Confident Year!

Digital LA Fashion Panel

Kevin Winston organized an intimate networking gathering for his Digital LA Cyber Monday event at Churchill. I was graciously invited to share in's and out's of this Holiday season. From latest gadgets, sales and fashion bargains we covered everything you needed to know to have a fabulous wrap up of 2011.

For online shopper is great to know to use Wish Lists, so that way your friends and families could surprise you with it. If you missed Black Friday and Cyber Monday events the new wave of savings will begin on the 1st of December with higher end brands joining the sales. Check out return policies as the have been extended in some stores. And, of course, what to wear this Holiday season was also covered by me in the panel.

My picks for fashionable gifts would be fun Ipad covers to add extra Style it. Christian Louboutin new book is always a great gift to a fashionista. Sparkly earring with cascading dangles would be great for every outfit. And if you still don't have Michael Kors Runway watch get it for yourself and as a gift! For make-up lovers YSL got few new shades of pink lipsticks and glosses to look young and fresh this Holiday Season.

Yes Velvet blazer for guys is still in to add subtle shine and festive sparkle. If you are a uber fashion guy try a boy tie with dash of holiday spirit or fun holiday colors then you can use neutral for the sweater or blazer. Fun holiday shirt is always great under a sweater. Accessories with gloves, and scarves to look extra Stylish, not just because it's cold, and then leave your scarf on for the Euro look.

Ladies are always great with sequence BUT don't overdo it because it cheapens the look then. Color to be on the look out for is purple in various shades as it will always go great with Holiday decor without blending in and you can accessorize with gold, solver or both as purple can be warm or cold tone. I would probably stay away from greens as you might blend in the tree for those Holiday photos. Chocolate sparkle would be great for this holiday and rather than "if you must" choice for Thanksgiving. New Years screams more is more, but make sure you check it out in the mirror that one extra time to see if pre celebratory champagne didn't blurred your vision :)

Most of all have a great time with your Holiday Style and own whatever you wear as Confidence is the best outfit for 2012!!!

Thanksgiving Style

Thanksgiving screams orange yams, brown turkey and a dash of cranberry. True fashion is never literal, except for Catirina Bonet and her Holiday hat creations, but that's at your own risk! Please keep me posted, if you dare, on how this look is received!
For the rest of you coordinating fashion and your sense of color will be the most Stylish way to go! You don't want to match with mashed potatoes, gravy or stuffing, but taking a dash of color and making it your own would coordinate beautifully at those Thanksgiving pictures. So here are some runway looks that might inspire you from Michael Kors collection that in my opinion, are perfect for today.

I would stay away from feathers, burgundy beads and orangy browns as you'll blend in your table decor. Instead play with shades of green to compliment the theme, purples to stand out and golds to catch that candle sparkle. If you must do browns do a sequent chocolate with a nude shoe and a leather jacket fir fun:

Dress by Michael Mors Chocolate sequins $150 at Macy's
Pair it up with Versace leather jacket for H&M for about $200
And nude or black Christian Louboutin peep toe shoe $895
This is a must have for everyone as this shoe goes with many outfits. I know it's not the most affordable value, but they DO have promotions and sales. Also look on www.bluefly.com for deals. My rule is to have variety of shoes, but make sure they are not killing your feet. If they are what I call "The Valet" shoes (you pull up to the valet and then stand and look pretty the rest of the night, not a walking shoe) then they are great for the dinner party :)

Make sure you have your MK Runway watch - must have! I love it.
Have a lovely Thanksgiving Styled by Natela!
