Stylish New Year Celebration

This New Year eve, among all the sparkling dresses, high hills and glittery eye shadow, the best accessory to all that glam is your confidence and a smile! No jewelry or hand bags could replace a brilliant smile and your head held high. When a woman walks in any room feeling amazing, she glows from within, and then jewelry is an enhancer and addition to already confident attitude.

When I talk about confident attitude we are not talking bitchy or snobby here, but a healthy feeling of looking great along with most important feeling good inside. The new resolution of all should be to carry this feeling durring the New Years Celebration into the 2012 and all the way through life!

So spend the last few days letting go of everything you want to leave in 2011 and walk into the New Year with overwhelming confidence! It is attractive, sexy and always in Style!

Happy New Confident Year!

Models to look out for

Some of the new models on the fashion horizon are strutting their stuff on runways and covering the pages of magazines. Fashion is obsessed with new faces and fresh girls. And one of the hottest debuts on the modeling arena is Lottie Moss. Yes, it is a younger sister of a modeling legend Kate Moss.
This picture is one of my favorite, even though you can see the immaturity in the model, but she is stunning, comes from model royalty and has amazing potential to be a big fashion model star. 13 year old half-sister of Kate Moss. Charlotte (Lottie) was set up on her first test shoot by Storm, agency that discovered Kate when she was 14. Andrea Carter-Bowman shot Lottie's first photos in black and white. She has full lips, cute nose, amazing hair and youth on her side that my prediction that she is going to be scooped by few designers to become their muse and inspiration for future campaigns. Good Luck Lottie!

Another model in the making is Kendall Jenner. From reality show to the NY Fashion Week runways and print shoots she evolved into a great model for fashion, editorial and commercial print. She is not a fan of runway shows, but has a few of them behind her belt already. Her stunning face and elongated figure will serve her well in the industry, and Kardashian clan will make sure she does well. Personally, I am obsessed with her face and natural modeling ability. I will keep my eye open for this up coming model as well! Good Luck Kendall!
From the test shoot to Forever 21 campaigns these two beauties are here to stay and rock the modeling world, and we'll be here to support the new wave of models!

Pandora rings

Few of my favorite Pandora rings are created as a single look or as a stackable collection. The smoked quarts is a complete beauty on it's own and I love wearing it on the middle finger as a cocktail ring. The way the stone is cut, makes it sparkle like it's worth million dollars. At only $105 it will not break your bank, but add a timeless piece to your Pandora collection. Both sides of this ring have two gold circular shapes, with smaller quarts imbedded in them. The ring sits high enough to add simple rings to this beauty for more of a bold look.

Another amazing look from Pandora stories is grey pearl rings. I like to stack few of these rings for a bold fashion look. It is very stylish to coordinate few of your favorite pieces and use them as a new creation. That's is what so precious about Pandora collections is that they not only create stories and have sentimentality to them, but are are interchangeable. When one pearl is just not enough, seven might do the trick :) The color of this ring is grey, but it looks amazing with purple and pink as well, because the color accommodates and shifts closer to shades of the outfit.
If you are looking for a Holiday gift or a present for yourself it is always a great idea to look no further than Pandora ring collections.
Stay stylish!

Hair Style

I got a great blow out from Madison at Planet Salon. I couldn't help to post about it as she was so fast and knew what she was doing, that I was more than happy to share my experience at Planet Salon with you.

Madison used 1 1/4" curling iron and Wella products that I love:
Brilliance for fine to normal hair shampoo and conditioner
Velvet amplifier-style product
Natural Volume-style product
Firm Finish hair spray

Easy California beach look could be achieved my curling medium size hair locks outwards from the face and downward on the curling iron. Don't let the tip of the hair curl as Cali Beach look has more of a straight end. Curl all sound the head and then run your fingers to loosen the curl up and get shape to a bit of a messy look instead of prom perm :) Easy, fast and beautiful!

Thank you Madison for teaching me the style!

Digital LA Fashion Panel

Kevin Winston organized an intimate networking gathering for his Digital LA Cyber Monday event at Churchill. I was graciously invited to share in's and out's of this Holiday season. From latest gadgets, sales and fashion bargains we covered everything you needed to know to have a fabulous wrap up of 2011.

For online shopper is great to know to use Wish Lists, so that way your friends and families could surprise you with it. If you missed Black Friday and Cyber Monday events the new wave of savings will begin on the 1st of December with higher end brands joining the sales. Check out return policies as the have been extended in some stores. And, of course, what to wear this Holiday season was also covered by me in the panel.

My picks for fashionable gifts would be fun Ipad covers to add extra Style it. Christian Louboutin new book is always a great gift to a fashionista. Sparkly earring with cascading dangles would be great for every outfit. And if you still don't have Michael Kors Runway watch get it for yourself and as a gift! For make-up lovers YSL got few new shades of pink lipsticks and glosses to look young and fresh this Holiday Season.

Yes Velvet blazer for guys is still in to add subtle shine and festive sparkle. If you are a uber fashion guy try a boy tie with dash of holiday spirit or fun holiday colors then you can use neutral for the sweater or blazer. Fun holiday shirt is always great under a sweater. Accessories with gloves, and scarves to look extra Stylish, not just because it's cold, and then leave your scarf on for the Euro look.

Ladies are always great with sequence BUT don't overdo it because it cheapens the look then. Color to be on the look out for is purple in various shades as it will always go great with Holiday decor without blending in and you can accessorize with gold, solver or both as purple can be warm or cold tone. I would probably stay away from greens as you might blend in the tree for those Holiday photos. Chocolate sparkle would be great for this holiday and rather than "if you must" choice for Thanksgiving. New Years screams more is more, but make sure you check it out in the mirror that one extra time to see if pre celebratory champagne didn't blurred your vision :)

Most of all have a great time with your Holiday Style and own whatever you wear as Confidence is the best outfit for 2012!!!

Thanksgiving Style

Thanksgiving screams orange yams, brown turkey and a dash of cranberry. True fashion is never literal, except for Catirina Bonet and her Holiday hat creations, but that's at your own risk! Please keep me posted, if you dare, on how this look is received!
For the rest of you coordinating fashion and your sense of color will be the most Stylish way to go! You don't want to match with mashed potatoes, gravy or stuffing, but taking a dash of color and making it your own would coordinate beautifully at those Thanksgiving pictures. So here are some runway looks that might inspire you from Michael Kors collection that in my opinion, are perfect for today.

I would stay away from feathers, burgundy beads and orangy browns as you'll blend in your table decor. Instead play with shades of green to compliment the theme, purples to stand out and golds to catch that candle sparkle. If you must do browns do a sequent chocolate with a nude shoe and a leather jacket fir fun:

Dress by Michael Mors Chocolate sequins $150 at Macy's
Pair it up with Versace leather jacket for H&M for about $200
And nude or black Christian Louboutin peep toe shoe $895
This is a must have for everyone as this shoe goes with many outfits. I know it's not the most affordable value, but they DO have promotions and sales. Also look on www.bluefly.com for deals. My rule is to have variety of shoes, but make sure they are not killing your feet. If they are what I call "The Valet" shoes (you pull up to the valet and then stand and look pretty the rest of the night, not a walking shoe) then they are great for the dinner party :)

Make sure you have your MK Runway watch - must have! I love it.
Have a lovely Thanksgiving Styled by Natela!

Versace at H&M

My dear stilistas I hope you got the memo about H&M having a special event today! When the doors opened dozens of ladies rushed to the Versace stands to get their latest fashions. EVERYTHING Versace was sold within the first hour of the store opening!!! Ladies, ladies, ladies ;) amazing job on getting a bargain on high end designers. They had dresses, leather jackets and much more directly from Versace. The bag alone was absolutely amazing. I have attached a photo of it and it's a keeper.

At first, to be honest, I was very upset because I love the high end brands to stay on the top and not sell out. I understand economy is down, and house designers are getting old and creative directors step in to take over, BUT I still love Armani Prive, Versace, Galiano, Chanel and so on to stay where they are on the fashion ladder and not sell out to the mass brands. It's amazing though to be able to get a deal on such a high end brand right in your home town store. I wish more stores would do specials like that occasionally, as a treat to their customers. This was amazing one time deal and congratulations on the buy :)

Make sure you get involved with your local favorite stores and they always have great promotions and special events, and you will be the first one to know about them. Savings are amazing, especially around Holiday times :) Every shopping bag counts lol So talk to sales people, ask about upcoming special events and share them with the world, follow latest info on fashion and get saving that you could only dream about!

Movie Reviews Fashion Documentaries

I am a movie junkie, and especially the ones that are about fashion. I got into documentaries lately and have been watching few of them. I enjoyed "Unzipped" a docu about fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi. The film is from 1995, features all the supermodels of the time. You see young Cindy Crawford, who I adored her back then, Linda Evangelista, Naomi, Turlington, Moss and so on. It's a flashbacks of memorabilia of what I was growing up with and who I looked up to with my dream of being one of them. I have never yet achieved their status, but indeed moving to U.S. was a dream come true for me. Even though I regret not going to N.Y. at 19, I still booked commercials including my Mercedes one and has print jobs in GQ and Wella. I have done runway show at L.A. fashion week and was a back stage and red carpet reporter the following year at L.A. Fashion week 2010. The dream of 4 year old girl sorta came true. I still see a billboard in the future and more hosting jobs to show off my personality. Who said that models must be hangers. I prove them wrong. And school is a part of my life as much as clothing and fashion.

Breaking the mold of dumb models is my drive. I went to Law School, School of Style in Russia and continued various educational routs in U.S. Got my Theatrical diploma and now styling Psychology. What am I going to do with all those diplomas I am not sure yet, but if they be a great wall accessory one day, so be it. But something tells me it is all useful and important. Because no one can argue like I do (Thanks Law School), I have natural sense of style, and I am the biggest entertainer you'll see. It all molded me in who I am. "Picture Me" is a documentary about Sara Ziff a very successful international model, who proves my point. She goes back to School on her own dime and no less that Columbia! She speaks different languages and has been featured on billboard, print, runways and campaigns, making crazy money. She shows different side of the "glam" behind modeling as an industry and every girl who is dreaming about becoming a model should watch it. Please don't think that it won't happen to you, because it will. But it is all about how you get out of those situations. Watch this film. Be over prepared and dream with clear head no matter what age you are!

Another one was "The September Issue". In Fashion September is out January and the beginning of Style year. No one knows it like Anna Wintor The editor at Vogue (Style Bible). She is the most influential woman in the whole Fashion industry. This film allows you to peak at a process that goes into putting together the issue of the year at Vogue. A job that everyone wants has it dramatic moments that last forever. One fire after another, packed schedule and coffee and coffee equals Anna's life. She is labeled the toughest, meanest and bitchiest in the biz. She is fast to turn you down and fast to make you overnight, but you better impress, bring it and nail it from the first glance. It was a treat for me to see the business side of Vogue. A word that gives me chills has a hard exterior but it's a chaos underneath. It was nice to demystify what goes on into such an important issue. The best part is when a camera man makes it into the issue as a model. This film is great!

Those are my picks for the Fashion Films of the Month!

Fashionable Pandora Jewelry

My most favorite jewelry brand Pandora is oh so in style now!!! Pandora jewelry is not only a memorable piece, but it looks amazing. Danish company could not have done it any better with personalized bracelets, interchangeable earrings, and stackable rings. Pandora is most famous for their stylish bracelets that you can get in silver, gold or gold and silver and load them up with individual charms to tell your own story. They also have great leather cords in various colors to use as bracelets in single or double string and as a necklace. I will be adding a number of photos for you to see and get few ideas for your Pandora items.

All Pandora photos on my page are designed by me :) I love this brand so much because it is personable, well made (all hand crafted, high quality and solid gold/sterling silver), great for traveling, and looks amazing. You get the value, look and sentimentality all in one.

The price points vary from $40 to $2900 for bracelets (leather cord to solid gold double wrap). $25 to $799 for the charms (sterling silver to hand crafted detailed gold with diamonds). Earrings from $20 to to $799 and rings from $30 to $1990 and there are absolutely stunning things in every price point! That's what I love the most.

You will find what you are looking for within your budget. There are some pieces that are priced so fare that my 14 y.o. brother can get if for the Holidays without breaking his bank and it looks like million bucks. That's another unique thing about Pandora jewelry is their affordability. When it's well made, hand crafted, quality items they don't need to max out your credit cards to look amazing.

This Pandora brand I love, love, love and it gets Ten Gold Stars from me!
